Students will learn the technique of filling, icing, stacking & detailing a 3-Tier wedding cake. techniques in fondant, drapes, ribbon & bridal lace work.
Supplies needed by each student:
3- Round double or tripled layer 5" , 8" & 11" baked cakes
8 lbs minimum of Satin Ice White or Chocolate Fondant
1/4 cup of gold or silver dragees
Super Pearl Dust Powder
1 cup of Royal Icing
5-14" Cake boards glued & foiled OR 1-14" Round wood board foiled

Students will learn the recipe & technique for fondant making & how to cover a cake.

Students will learn the recipe & technique for making fondant from scratch & will get to prepare a colored fondant batch together & will take home a sample & recipe.

Students will learn how to fill, ice & detail a square cake to look like a present. Techniques include fondant bows, loops, sugar tags & stripes. Cake will be covered in choice of fondant or whipcreme (additional charge applies)
Supplies needed by each student:
1-8x4" Square baked cake(not layered)
4lbs of Satin Ice White fondant(choice of color) & 1lb Satin Ice Colored fondant
1 cup of Royal icing
2 Decorating bags

*If using the whipcreme icing to coat cake base, only 2lb of fondant icing is required $10.00 additional charge applies for our whipcreme icing.
